Martina Peterlini on Her Comeback, Switching to HEAD and Chasing Shiffrin | Skiing Is Believing Podcast
In this episode of the Skiing Is Believing podcast, Alan and Matt catch up with Italian slalom specialist Martina Peterlini about a summer that included around five months away from snow following surgery in April and a switch from Rossignol to HEAD. They also discuss the Italian team, the current women’s slalom circuit and what it is like to chase Mikaela Shiffrin.
Peterlini hopes to return to competition at Levi in November, her favourite stop on the women’s World Cup circuit, although her place in the start gate is not yet confirmed. Her positivity comes through throughout the conversation, along with a clear determination to get back to the top of her game.
